Document the native vegetation on vacant, hammock, pineland, buttonwood, invasive exotic lots for development permits.

Mitigation Reports

Document vegetation in construction impact zone for new development on lot. Document native vegetation on developed lots to illustrate any native vegetation that will or will not be impacted in a new development on site.

Native Tree Documentation

Native tree documentation for permits that will not require removal of vegetation but that needs to show the native trees on site near the construction impact area that will remain on site.

KEYWEP Scoring for Disturbed Wetland Lots

For disturbed wetland lots that qualify for development, a Keys Wetlands Evaluation Procedure (KEYWEP) score is required to be documented for the lot to apply for a development permit from the Federal, State, and local government.

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Snail Surveys

Stock Island Tree Snail Survey as required for development of vacant hammock lots. Requires a minimum of two field site visits in two separate months within August, September, December, and January during an active rain event.

Wetland Delineation

Wetland delineation as required to determine wetland principle and accessory structure setbacks. Identifying and delineating wetlands is provided in Florida Department of State Rule 62-340 F.A.C. and required by Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) for vacant lot development.

Benthic Surveys

Documentation of coral, sponges, invertebrates, and seagrass species as needed for dock and seawall permits per standards defined by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE), Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), and county/local agencies.
